Michele Lu is a Los Angeles–based artist making emotionally driven indie pop/rock with a nostalgic edge. With more than 86,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, Michele has quickly built a growing audience through her raw songwriting and distinctive sound. Her 2024 single “Shotgun” has surpassed 970,000 streams, while her debut 2026 EP “Dull Red” amassed over 350,000 streams within just two weeks of release. Her music has also been featured on major Spotify editorial playlists including New Music Friday, Fresh Finds, All New Pop, young & free, with Michele also being featured as the cover artist for Fresh Finds Pop.

A graduate of the University of Southern California’s Popular Music program, Michele was named USC’s Artist of the Year and received recognition from the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2025. As a seasoned live performer, she has opened for Don Toliver at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, performed at USC’s convocation for more than 20,000 attendees, and played prominent venues across Los Angeles.
